I’m Madeline, a self taught visual artist from Vancouver BC. I grew up in Saskatchewan, but relocated to Vancouver BC nearly a decade ago. I’ve felt passionately about arts and creating since my earliest memories. In 2020, with more spare time on my hands, I dove into my artistic pursuits.

My intentions as an artist are largely influenced by my inner world. My style leaning towards contemporary surrealism with a figurative focus. Using both acrylic and oil on canvas, I play largely with vibrant colours and exaggerated portions. My current work is emotionally driven, with emphasis on the complexity and duality of the female experience.
